Sperry earns excellence in construction awards for 2024 projects in Florida and Georgia
Sperry Construction has a rich tradition of construction excellence. This was on display at the 2024 Excellence in Construction Awards hosted by North Florida Associated Builders & Contractors. Sperry took home 5 awards for excellence in construction at the annual banquet hosted in Pensacola, Florida in December 2024.

Danfoss Turbocor’s Project Horizon is a 160,000 square foot manufacturing facility located in Tallahassee, Florida. This state-of-the-art facility houses production equipment, assembly lines, offices, meeting rooms, a canteen, lobby, and support spaces and is carbon neutral.
Pyramid Award – Commercial Construction $25 -$50 Million for Crown Motors Tallahassee BMW/Jaguar/Land Rover
This new build co-located a BMW, Land Rover, and Jaguar dealership in a 42,000 square foot facility in Tallahassee, Florida. The state-of-the-art dealership offers luxury car sales and maintenance for each brand all in one site.
Pyramid Award – Commercial Renovation for Crown Motors Tallahassee Porsche
This project transformed an existing BMW dealership in Tallahassee, Florida into a state-of-the-art Porsche dealership through extensive renovations, ensuring high-end quality and embodying Porsche’s unique design language and requirements.
Pyramid Award – Commercial Construction $5 – $10 Million for Fine Fettle Dispensaries
As a certified subcontractor, the Sperry Construction team rapidly constructed a 113,900 square foot metal building in 10 weeks. Utilizing over 860,880 lbs. of steel and 10,346 man-hours, Sperry completed installation and a dried-in structure in just 6.5 weeks.
Merit Award – Commercial Construction < $5 million for Enterprise Car Sales & Car Wash
Enterprise hired the Sperry Construction team to construct a new 9,717 square foot car dealership in Tallahassee, Florida which included a wash facility, customer service building, and support systems. The project utilized various materials and innovative methods, resulting in a successful and cost-effective outcome.
