Sperry Team Shares Hiring Success at Tallahassee Chamber Talent Forum
Sperry & Associates recently shared best practices in commercial construction hiring with members of the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce. Sperry President Bart Wells helped kick off the Chamber’s annual Talent Forum by delivering remarks about how the company has maintained a strong team of skilled tradesmen and project managers for nearly 50 years. In his comments to the crowded room of Tallahassee business leaders, Wells said, “We believe every business who wants to grow should feel comfortable doing so, but we also understand why you may feel overwhelmed by the idea of constructing a new building. This is why we have a process that makes it easy to build your business dream.”
Wells pointed out that construction hiring is particularly challenging due to the unique mixture of detailed work and communication skills required to get the job done. Wells spoke to how Sperry’s mission is make commercial construction feel easy to their clients. He added, “To do this, we have to have a talented team of construction experts and highly skilled tradesmen. That’s why we make talent retention, acquisition, and development a priority for our company.”
